How it works
Nothing to log and no workouts to start. Wanderpost reads the steps your phone already counts and turns them into distance along the route you picked.
Start with Hadrian's Wall Path, which is free with no limit, or any of the five others. You can switch routes whenever you like; progress on each one is kept.
Steps sync from Apple Health on iPhone and Health Connect on Android, so Samsung Health and Fitbit are included. Every step counts, including the ones you took before you opened the app today.
Every few miles a postcard unlocks, with a short story of the place: a fort, a pass, a pilgrim town, a diner. Finish the route and you get a finisher card you can print.
Routes at launch
Days are a rough guide at 8,000 steps a day, which is about 6 km. Walk more and you arrive sooner. Walk less and the route waits.

Honest FAQ
Yes, it is the same idea: your real steps move a marker along a route, and things unlock as you arrive. The differences are the terms. Wanderpost is paid for once, counts every step you take with no daily cap, follows real routes with the story of each place, and has no medals shop or in-app store.
No. There is nothing to ship and nothing to buy inside the app. You collect digital postcards along the way, and when you finish a route you get a finisher card you can print at home.
On iPhone, steps come from Apple Health, so the phone itself, an Apple Watch, or any app that writes steps to Health all count. On Android, steps come from Health Connect, which includes Samsung Health, Fitbit and any other app that writes steps there. Wanderpost reads steps and nothing else.
No. There is no sign-up, no login and no server with your data. Your progress lives on the phone, and the purchase is tied to your App Store or Google Play account, so you can restore it on a new phone.
Early 2027 on iPhone and Android. People on the waitlist get the first TestFlight build and the first Google Play closed test, before the public release.
One email when it ships, then a TestFlight or Play invite. Nothing else.
